Not an ordinary psychic, Sandi Athey, affectionately known as Psychic Sandi came by her talents the hard way.

Sandi brings compassion and a joyous sense of humor to the work she does. After growing up in a typical suburban town in upstate New York and while working in a traditional corporate career, a near death experience changed her life.

Working late one night, the front door was left unlocked by a tenant. Without warning, Sandi found herself under-siege at the hands of a serial rapist. Sandi viewed her attacker from the other side. Although Sandi could see he had not meant to kill her, his violent attacks on women had continued to escalate in recent months. Her life was only saved by her own wits as shock delayed her captor just long enough for Sandi to come back into her body and strike back. This tiny beauty packs a punch and her struggle to survive caused her attacker to take off. Sandi's impecable description of her attacker, viewed when she was on the other side, led to his conviction and imprisonment.

In pursuing her own healing, Sandi came to know what she had glimpsed as a small child—that her life would take a spiritual path. Her transformation from corporate executive to psychic healer and medical intuitive was facilitated by a seven-year apprenticeship with a Cherokee teacher of Shamans. This training was instrumental in honing Sandi’s natural gifts of seeing beyond the physical plane.

Psychic Healer, Medical Intuitive, Pet Communicator, Spiritual Counselor.... All these terms have been used to describe Sandi at one time or another. It doesn’t matter what you call her—Sandi draws on a variety of modalities to work with clients on a very individual basis. Using her gifts to tune into the Universe, Sandi discovers the needs of her clients and proceeds accordingly. A session with Sandi could mean contacting the other side, dealing with childhood issues, finding the physical, emotional, or spiritual source for whatever challenge is at hand, or even discerning why Fluffy just won’t use the litter box!
